you'll hazve to: lose the clutch for a flexplate & torque converter, get an auto shifter, get an auto linkage, maybe change crossmember, different driveshaft, might have to change your throttle linkage for a tv cable connection, install a trans cooler, install lines for trans cooler, buy 13 qts of trans fluid, run a vacuum line for modulator valve, change front driveshaft, and possibly have to change the 4wd shift linkage.
Maybe one detail. Unsure of your engine, but if it's EFI (i.e. the 302) you may need a new computer (?) Didn't these make a distinction between a standard trans and an automatic? Also, you'll need to figure out something new to do with your left foot and your right hand ! Just kidding, though getting into the same body-styled auto after driving my stick drives me nuts for the first several hundred miles, especially when I stomp the floor pan looking for the clutch when I come to a stop! Good luck!
What's the difference in front driveshafts between sticks and auto's? A Bronc with a C6/NP208 uses the same one as a T-18/BW1356. I assumed it would be the same for all 1980-1996 fullsize trucks and Bronc's with a given front axle.
My transfer case broke in half so I need to replace it. I wanted to build a c6 up and install it anyway. So now that the case is toast I might as well change everything.

The difference would be the length of the shaft. I went from a M5OD 5-speed to a NP435 and there was a 3 inch difference in length. Needless to say, the rear shaft had to be re-tubed 3 inches longer and the front needs to be cut 3 inches.
I hope this answers your question. ;-)

There won't be any computer problems since the c-6, and your original 4spd aren't computer controlled.
