Replace a C6 with a 4 speed
I'm looking for worst case as far as problems you had or what to expect. I know I'll need the pedal assembly, bellhousing, etc so more looking for your challenges at doing the swap. Possibly a 4 speed top loader.
Pretty much a bolt in deal. You might have to redrill the frame where the crossmember sits as I'm pretty sure it moves an inch or so. Not big deal.
You don't have to change the whole pedal assy, just need the clutch pedal. Remove the pivot pin for the brake pedal and it gets replaced with the clutch pedal, as it has a long rod to go through the pedal assy. Bolt on the arm to secure it and install the drop rod through the floor(have to knock out the hole). Mount the pivot to the frame, the pivot ball mount to the block.
Really isn't a big deal. Now, being a camper special I'm not sure if there are addition things under the cab to deal with. Don't think so.
The only other deal is swapping in a driveshaft. Your C6 will have a bolt on flange going to a carrier bearing. I replaced the front shaft with one from a slip yoke style transmission. I was lucky and found a bolt in. You might have to have one made or convert your stock driveshaft.
