What exactly comes in a Gap Guard package from PA? What mounts the rubber to the wheel wells, plastic push grommets? Is the rubber molded in any way or just bends however it needs to? What are the dimensions of the pieces? Does anyone have a picture of a Gap Guard package laid out before installation? I think that the reason PA doesn’t show a picture of what you’re buying laid out in a picture because people would see what the package consists of and realize that they can make there own Gap Guard.
Reason I’m asking these questions is that it seems like a lot to pay $69 + for some rubber and plastic push grommets? Is it possible to make your own out of something like that rubber garden edging stuff that comes in 20’ rolls if trimmed properly?
I know some of you guys have bought these Gap Guards. Are they worth the money for what you get?
