Cowl Grill

I am trying to install a new windshield wiper motor but I can't get the cowl grill off. I took all the screws out that I could find, but it seems like something is holding it in. What am I missing?

sorry, out of town.

Yes, I am counting 12 screws. Could the radio antenna be holding it in?

Check your antenna base, it shouldn't hold it but will have to be loosened and removed I believe.

I had to replace my windsheild wiper motor 3 times. you have to pull the cowl towards the front bumper, and then lift it up. its kinda hard. the antenna could be holding it in place too.

There are a number of weather seals. Mine were dryed and hard. They could be sticking the parts together. Some time back it was suggested that removing the hood really makes this job easier. I didn't do that but it was a pita to manipulate the cowl out with the hood on.
