05 f350 with 2000 miles had tranny replaced at 1700 miles. i was out plowing my driveway and tranny is hesitating and schuddering in reverse. same exact symptoms as before when the snapring broke and blew a hole in the side of the tranny. i climbed under the truck to see the build date on tranny 01 18 05,there goes the rumor that ford fixxed the problem with trannys built 01 15 05 and after. so back to the dealer again(hopefuly not another 4 weeks). this is getting sickening now .

 

There is a recall on "05 torgueshift transmissions. doing exactly what just happened to yours. saw that recall on blueovalnews.com a few weeks back

 

was it a recall or service bullitan .either way alls they can do is put another tranny in ; been there done that. now what?
