Who has the highest miles on a 6.0 with no major problems. I am going to purchase a 05 6.0 within the next couple of weeks. I had a friend tell me that around 60,000 to 70,000 miles the head bolts have stretched and need repaired. Anybody else with this problem.

I don't think the sealed units are threaded and to try and drill in the correct place and then tap is more than I want to get into. Tim - call me, I am in the office.
There are no grease fitttings on the 05 front end - wonder if we are going to see ball joints fail around the same mileage?
isnt it a nice thought? ford went thru this nightmare in the 80's with their frontends. i had hoped they were gonna stick with the solid w/ leafs for good. but here we go again sissyfied

I just sold a 1995 F-250 with 225K & never had a ball joint changed, several tie rod ends though. Does the '05 not have grease fittings on linkage? Did they change from twin "I beam" in '05?
