Steering Wheel nibble went away
I have had a steering wheel nibble problem. The dealer replaced the steering gear, but it did nothing to fix the problem. two weeks ago I decided to get out the power washer and clean off the under side of the truck. I also blasted of the rims, cleaning out the grove thats on the inner side of the rims.(I will attach pictures when I take some to show what I mean) I could not believe all the dirt and grit that came out of it. I drove the truck and the NIBBLE IS GONE. I have a hard time believing that fixed my problem and I do not understand the connection, but the fact of the matter is I cleaned of the rims really good and the nibble was gone. I have driven for 300 miles now and so far no nibbe.

I can believe that took care of part of the problem, or even in some cases cured it. Mine never had a problem until I parked in some deep snow one night. When I went to work the next morning it had plenty of nibble. I found the wheels had a build up of ice in them. I cleaned them out, and it was instantly smooth again.

Based on the customer letter that 2004 and 2005 new steyle F150 owners are receiving in regards to vibrations shakes etc, they upped the tire warranty to 3 years 36K miles. So just maybe you had a balance issue. Seems like Ford has recognized a tire/balance issue causing some of the problems,
