Throttle Body Cleaning

Hi everyone,took my air intake off the other day to clean my throttle body,and on the body it says "DO NOT CLEAN"any info on why it says that and what can i REALLY USE to clean it,input is appreciated.Thanks

Any thing that is listed for use in a fuel injected vehicle will work. I usually use Air Intake and TB cleaner by CRC, available at any Checkers.
