notchy 2nd gear

I have a 2001 f-150 xlt sc with 4.6, 5-speed. The truck only has 30,000 miles on it and a new clutch,slave cylinder a 27,000. Ever since I have owned the truck 15'000, second gear has been nothcy. Doesnt matter what road speed or engine speed, pulling into second goes one click, then it will drop into gear. Is this a syncronizer, or do you guys have the same condition

Sounds like a syncro. I had a 2000 v6 with a 5 speed and it was sometimes a little stiff in the 2nd to 3rd shift. I never had it worked on though, it was a lease so I just turned it back in
