I would think with more power you would better off in second gear, first comes and goes fast with just a stock truck, I would think with 100 more horse power you could just go second and get a little faster time, you would have a lot more boost taking off anyways, anyone ever do this?

In all honesty, it has handled the abuse very well. It theortically should have self-destructed a long time ago.
