02 fuel injector problem?

This questions goes out to all F150 Sport owners (mine is a 2002). Has anyone had problems with starting? I know the starter is fine because I paid $185.00 to have it checked. Whenever my truck gets below 1/2 tank of gas it won't start the first try and sometimes it takes 3 tries before it starts. It almost seems like the fuel is not getting in and I had the fuel injector cleaned and still having the problem. Help!!!! Don't know what to try next.

Have you had the fuel pressure checked? Fuel filter replaced?

Sorry, I didn't list what exactley was done for the $185.00; check engine light wouldn't go off so that was checked $50.00 + part, and the rest was labor to check the starter out. And of course the whole time they had the truck it started 1st time everytime.

My truck always starts 1st time when the tank is 1/2 full or more; under 1/2 tank it drives me crazy. I try to keep it above a 1/2 tank that way I don't have to get frustrated. I've also noticed when I'm driving on the highway (73 miles everyday) that sometimes it feels like it's sputtering. I don't know how else to describe it but it is not a smooth ride it's almost jerky.
