Will a lift kit and larger tires void a warranty on a new truck? I'm planning on getting an 06' and I want to lift it 4", but I don't want to lose any coverage. Any experience with this?

From my experience, a 4 inch kit won't be viewed as a warrany problem, but anything past that (6 or more) could run into some problems if driveline issues occur. My best advice would be to drive the truck 5000-10000 miles stock, to weed out most possibilities of driveline issues from the factory. Assuming all goes well, stay with a 4 inch or less lift and IMO you will be just fine.
I test drove the 05' and I asked the salesman if a lift kit would void the warranty. Now I know the salesman are just numbers guys but he said that it would void the warranty. He said that anything you do that isn't Ford spec will void the warranty. He also said that he never heard of any problems on the 6.0 other than the injectors being recalled, which uhhh... I'm pretty sure we all know differently. I'll go talk to a tech.
here in N.E. FL you can buy a lifted '05 off the lot and I've spoken to the guy that does the lift for the dealership ,It comes with the full warranty , also includes 35" tires,no engine modifications though.(This all comes at a premium).
There is a chevy dealership that does that here. I know a guy that was interested and someone at the lot told him to buy a stock truck and lift it himself to save about 3 grand from the dealer.
