Sony stuff sucks. My experiences have been they die prematurely and while they work they have horrible sq. I would stay away from Sony. Crutchfield has some Profile amps that are cheap and while they arnt the best they seem to be very good for the money. They have one for $79.99 that says it puts out 330watts RMS at 2ohms it is the 400M. For subs Alpine has some ok subs. They have good HU's and there subs arnt bad but there are better ones out there but trying to stay cheap Alpine isn't a bad choice. Kicker Comp VR's are pretty nice too I have a 10" Dual voice coil 4 ohm one in my truck as I just wanted a little more bass and it sounds nice and clean. JL has aweseome subs but they are very pricey. I would say check out those subs and a Profile amp for that price. Maybe Rockford Fosgate amps if you decide to spend a little more.
I've actually heard some good things about Profile, I've never used them so I don't know personally, but there are some people on here that have, and they were happy. Personally, I'm saving up and I'm going to put in a high dollar system. Have you checked out Hifonics? They have the Brutus amps which are great, and kind of expensive, but not really that bad.
Thanks for all the input. I read all of your advice about power and name brands and that sort of thing, and I started my searching over. I think I came up with one that meets the criteria that bout everyone has mentioned, which is high RMS power and a good brand. Take a look and tell me what you think.
Check out item#5755007805 on ebay. Seller has great feedback. It's a brand new Alpine mono amp that would be a decent match for your subs at only $123. I would 1000:1 rather buy an Alpine with no warranty at less than half MSRP, than to have a dozen Jensens or Sonys or Profiles with 10 year warranties. There is no comparison. Some things are NOT a bargain at any price, IF you care about quality.
If you use a quality amp such as Alpine, and connect it and use it as it should be(in other words, don't be an idiot), you will almost never have an issue with failure. Nearly every failure of equipment of any reasonable quality is because of user abuse or ignorance. Very seldom is it sheer equipment failure, although it does happen. My point is, a warranty shouldn't be a huge issue when getting an amp of this quality at a bargain price. There are many levels of quality in the car audio industry. Stick with the same quality in an amp as you have in your subs. This would fit into that category.

Reason: SP
crunch isn't bad, it just doesn't put out the power its rated at. that amp puts out about 600 watts peak bridged at 4 ohms and i wouldn't try running it at 2 ohms bridged, that red light will come on and there could be smoke, never a good thing.
I have 2 roadmaster 10s (I know, they're cheap but they really don't sound bad). They are rated for 900 watts max, I don't know the RMS on them. I do know that with a 110 watt 2 channel amp, the are perfect for the car. Just enough bass to feel it, and with the right cd a good back massage.
I have been using 2 Profile amps for over 2 years now and no problems. 1 four channel and 1 2 channel which is bridged. For the money you can't go wrong.
