With heads light switch off, I press the brake pedal and brake lights and license plate lights come on. Left turn signal gives me left turn signal while right gives me both left and right signals. With head light switch on I get no brake lights at all or running lights. This problem is all rear, front seem to work okay. What is possible problem? Turn signal switch assembly? Ground? Bruce
Pull the bulbs out and make sure they are oriented correctly, you'll notice one pin on the bulb is lower than the other. While your in there scrape all the terminals in the socket, and make sure the ground wire has a good connection to the body. If the glass part of the bulb is loose in the metal part of the bulb, replace it as the common of the bulb can break where it is soldered to the metal part.
