you can use aftermarket motors and they are a lot cheaper then factory
i have them for $7 each with shipping and connectors....i also have pics of the motors installed.....i replace them on the fords all the time.....let me know if you need more info....

I've got a 2000 also and ALL of my doors to include my rear hatch are bad!!!! What the heck? I've got an extended warranty with a hundred dollar deductable... I should probably let for do it, eh? I'm assuming this is a common problem? If so, you'd thing there would have been some type of a recall...
