need help

i have a 97 ford f-150 lariatxlt and having trouble taking it out of park and no break lights i have changed the switch up on the pedal but still nothing for me to get it out of park i need to go up under the sterring column and flick a switch up there please need help

Have you checked the fuses? Is there 12V going to one side of the switch?
I have read of broken wires going to the switch too.

the fuses are good and their is no wires that seem to go to the brake pedal switch, i believe its has something to do with the relay up in the steering column please help

I believe you have a bad "lock" which locks it in park until you have your foot on the brake. A way to "get around it" would be to....turn the key but not all the way to "run", then shift it out of park (like to neutral) then start it up and see what happens. You should be able to shift gears once it is out of park.
