My '05 F350 has a grinding noise or clunk when I put it in park while in 4x4 low range. Almost like if it was rolling when I put it park, but it wasn't. I put it gear and back to park several times and it made the noise almost every time.
Any ideas? I am taking it back to the dealer for a drone or vibration at 55-65(I've seen others here with the same problem) and would like to have this park problem addressed at the same time. I'd just like some idea of what it might be before I go.
BTW this is the second trip for the vibration - 1st time they told me it was the exhaust and put some anti-vibration ***** on it - didn't help. I wonder what they'll tell me this time... Doesn't seem like anybody on here has gotten a satisfactory fix to this yet. I'll be sure to tell you all if they find a solution.
