1. model yr and mileage of your current vehicle
2. This was on a new replacement vehicle, correct?
3. Do they identify the cost per mile usage fee? If not, we can puzzle it out.
Do you know the MSRP difference between the two vehicles?
Don't stress yet- negotiation is the history of Western Civilization.

I agree, don't stress yet!! You still may not get the promised new vehicle!
So far, I picked my replacement vehicle three weeks ago... The dealership has the vehicle, I have seen it! The dealership tells me two more days everytime I call about the status of the paperwork. One more week and they have exceeded the 30 days as prescribed in the arbitration paperwork. I am letting the rope out so they can hang themselves. I am tired of calling... I wonder what recourse I have after the 30 days? I just hate paying on a loan when I have a vehicle I can't drive since I don't want to put mileage on it or deal with the odor.
If I could start over on this process, I would have asked for a refund too. I realize now, that it would have been easier and quicker. Overall, I like the Expy! That's why I bought it. I figured that replacing the vehicle was more appropriate and thought it was fair for both parties. After dealing with the dealership trying to find a replacement and the cost of the mileage, I would have been better off getting a refund and going back to negotiate a new deal! I found the dealership is reluctant to help since there is no money in it for them, and they don't want to trade a vehicle on their lot to get me a replacement since my vehicle is a buyback. Then the formula they use for the mileage and MSRP old vs MSRP new may not work in the victim's favor. If I had a refund and cash in hand, I would be in a new vehicle now! The dealership would have located a vehicle within 6 hours and my ordeal would have ended. Instead, I keep paying monthly payments while I wait and receive no feedback from the dealership or Ford.

Don't confuse the dealership with FoMoCo- they'll be told when, where, and how the same as you. They're not being reluctant- their hand are tied. This is Ford's party.
Tell them that! A loaded Expy without LLS is probably a better shot anyway. My storyline would be, simply put, you think a mechanically simpler vehicle would be a better idea.
Based on your payoff 'n stuff from earlier in the thread, I think you came out just fine. Sounds like they charge you a bit less for the mileage- math doesn't add up. No matter- problem solved, now time to move on. Sometimes there a limit to how much aggrevation you want to put up with.
Hey Mike, my wife has a 04 navigator bough new in October 04 with 14000k. Ford is putting another transmission in her suv, The first one went out with only 7000 miles on it. They rebuilt that one and it work for only 7000k and now that one has went out. How many times does this trans needs to go out to be a lemon. I live in Mississippi.
