Last I checked, Ford did produce F-series trucks after 1979. I have a 1981 Ford F-100 custom cab that I am trying to restore. I can find virtually no parts such as emblems and interior paneling (except door panels from JC Whitney). Where can I find restoration parts for the 80-86 F-series body style?
Glad someone asked this question before I did . Now I know I am not the only crazy out there. I too am restoring an F150 its an 86 4x4 300 six with 130,000 miles on it . My restore started out just replacing the bed but once the bed came off so did the cab.
Now its sitting in my shop in all it naked self . no body work at all just this massive lookinf frame. I need a lot of things and trime pieces being one of them
good luck with your restore

Thank you very much for the tip. I have heard of LMC, but had no idea that they carried parts for the 80-86 body style. I have ordered a catalogue and can't wait until it arrives. I will post updates on the restoration process both on this message board and in my gallery.
