Hey, I have a 97 expedition. I need a cd magazine for the changer. The part number ford gave me is f5tz18c833a. which is differant then the ones I see on ebay. but most of those on ebay claim to fit the 97 if it has the orange eject button. which mine has. the ones online are about half the price of what ford wants. where there several diffrent numbers for this changer?

 

I can't really give you a good answer, but you might try the audio forum, they might know. Good luck with it.

 

97's use a Clarion CD changer. It has the orange button on it and the ones from Ebay will work. They will also save you about $60 over the dealer!

Hi, are you sure that the part number for the 1999 ford expedition xlt, with a gray eject button is YL1F-18C833-AB. I am having a desperate time finding a magazine cartridge for my ford. Any help is greatly appreciated and also, is there a possible compatible cartridge say a AIWA MCD-MG55. Someone said that AIWA makes the changers for the Ford Company. Thanks..
