It really depends on my mood- classical, gospel, bluegrass, oldies, jazz, accapella groups. I was brought up on classical, so that is where I turn first- esp. Mozart. Don't like rap or newer country. I can even go heavy metal if I'm partyin'.
I like alot of metal like Megadeth, Kreator, Morbid Angel, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Slayer, Testament, Ministry.....but i like other music but i mainly keep it rock like: CCR, The Cult, Cream, Blind Faith, Jethro Tull, ZZ Top, .38 Special, Soundgarden, Rush, Nirvana, Faith No More, The Doors
i listen to a little bit of everything. frank sinatra, beach boys, elvis, hank william jr, charlie daniels band, toby keith, zztop, aerosmith, d-12, eminem, good charlotte, one man army, simple plan, and of course my favorite who can sing every style of music KID ROCK.
This is really a hard question to answer. I have way too many types of music that I like.
I guess it might be safe to say that 90% of the time it had better have a fast beat, 10% of the time who knows. I will never ever listen to Rap, or elevator music though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking at all of my cd's, there are so many varieties................mostly Southern Rock, Classic Rock, but then there is Big Band, Old Country, Irish Gaelic is a kick in the pants for party music too!
Well, as I said in the beginning, too hard of a question to answer............................................ .............................................
Rosington Collins, War, Ten Years After, Velvet Revolver, Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline, Pachelbel, etc. etc. etc....................................
Woogs: Check these guys out if you have not already . I have a lifelong buddy and picking pal who quit Blue Rodeo after 9 years to play pedal steel with them out of Austin . There is a juke box here to sample their music .
Anything- mix it up. I just can't stand to hear the same song 2-3 times per hour.
Prefer to listen to the college station out of University of Pennsylvania. It is a public station and it is available via streaming audio on the web- www.wxpn.org- they have a lot of themed shows as well as a great mix of new and semi-obscure older stuff.
Check it out!
