In-dash cd player installation HELP

I'm planning on doing an in dash cd player installation by myself and I'm aware that the "double" (not sure what they're called) cd players are expensive and I plan on getting a regular one but does anyone know where you get the kit that will install the cd player perfect and then makes a little cubby hole below it?? thanks i need some help haha

I would check out Circuit City, Best Buy, Cruthfeild or Ebay.

you can get the kit almost anywhere. the radio that is in it stock is almost a double din(they call it). so you need a regular din, or what size any new cd player is anymore.

I just put a new Alpine CD player in my 95', not sure of your model year but the only thing I had to get that was not with the new CD player was the wiring harness to connect to the factory wiring harness of the truck. Those are had at Circuit City for less than 20 bucks and make this way easy to do. I did have to hit the opening for the radio in the dash with a hand file to make this slide in without any drag. It didn't take much though, the install was not bad at all and I even replaced the four speakers in my truck. 5 1/4" - 6" round will fit the front and 5X7 inchers fit the back...
