Mexican Block

I've got a 69 pickup with a 302/mexican block, and understand these blocks are di$ireable!!! any info would be helpfull

Yeah they are somewhat disireable, they have a higher nickel content and slightly bigger main caps than an american 302.

The nickel content thing is internet bs.They had slightly thicker webbing and main caps,but there not roller blocks.

They actually weigh a little more then the more common 302 block.

I have a book that was written before the internet was popular that says other wise, they have a higher nickel content and you can see it when they are hot tanked and compared to a regular 302.
