I have a set of BFG mud terrains on a 98 Jeep. 48k miles, still have about 1/3rd of the tread left. I got 46k miles on the OEM Goodyear all terrains, and the last 2k miles were scary. I rotate all 5 tires every 6k miles & keep them at 50 psi. It rides like a tank but I will get my $$ out of the tires. I have heard the MT/R's are great tires, but they are $30-50 more than the BFG's. The BFG's are surprisingly quiet for mud tires, also. Decent on ice, great in snow, just about unstoppable in mud.
yea my 35" bfg muds kick hiney, getting louder as they wear but I love them
bfg dosent make a 37 for a 15" wheel, 17"-18" only and cost $285.00
how bout swampers or other brands?
$800.00 for 37s huh? good price are you a dealer or something?[/QUOTE]
no they are actually 820.00 but no im not a dealer or anything i just went to a tire store down the street and there they were. i can get the 38" tsl's for 1100.00 its either one or the other.

Thats wierd cause I can get 38" TSL's for $875 and MTR goodyear 37's for $900.00 ish
All the reviews I read on the TSL's are that the sidewalls are bulletproof, they go square overnight in cold weather, and they wear fast on the street. Great tires if you off-road in rocks or over trees/branches, but you are lucky if you get 30k miles out of them. I like the price, though -- I can only get 31" on my Jeep because I don't have a lift yet. The TSL radials are about $40 less than the BFG's in 31's.
