back from ford update

Ford replaced air temp sensor.zero change with rough idle.we will see about milage after fill up.Bummer I really hoped they found problem.

I dont remember if there was an original posts, but for the rough idle.....has the IAC been checked out or replaced?

I mentioned iac to them but they don't check stuff out"no code no problem"is the moto of this shop.
I don't know how to check iac myself,Instructions?pictures?? thank you for replying.

That's bs as the IAC could be working just enough to not throw a code, but still bad enough to be noticed.

You can find tons of posts about IAC if you use the forum search tool. It's easy to replace. Check my gallery for help

The IAC is located st the top back of your intake manifold. Just remove the large plastic manifold cover, then unplug the harness to the IAC, then 2 bolts to remove the IAC. If its not too bad, you can clean it with something like brake parts cleaner, then blow it dry, replace and done. Or you can just buy another one for about $70. Easy to replace.
