Okay............someone tip the balance here..............Is April going to be in Paxton or Matoon? I prefer a member voice their opinion, rather than my making the choice.
Okay......March is here, where will the April meeting be? We have had memebrs in the Paxton area suggest locations , nothing soild yet. Are there more members in the Matoon area than Paxton? We need to decide this one very soon.
As I mentioned in the March Meeting thread, we set a new attendance record at the March meeting.
We also were able to welcome two new faces to the Illinois Chapter.
Unfortunately, there were no new faces from the general Gilman area.
After this months discussion as well as the past two months, the April meeting location is likely to change.
Due to the location of our last five "new" members to join the chapter and increased interest in other areas of the state, we will select a new location to reflect that interest.
The date and locations will be posted soon in this thread.
I would also like to nominate "Bluemagrt" as our Member of the Month for April.
Since his joining the Illinois Chapter, "Bluemagrt" has faithfully attended each meeting and offered solid suggestions and ideas to help the chapter grow.
Thanks to all who attended, Fastronald - Illinois Chapter Leader

Voicing My Opinion To Have The April Meeting In Danville.
That Is About The Max I Can Do On A Sunday, As The Kids Have School On Monday And Work Is Early At 5 Am. Would Like To Be Able To Attend One And Bring Up Talks About A Meeting In Carlyle, Il For The Summer.
We have one suggestion for April, however the suggested site is not usually open on Sundays.
I have not heard back from the business owner as of yet if he's open to the idea.
We may meet in the general location to offer members in that area to attend a chapter meeting.
I'll dig out the map and take a look for possible locations.
I am leaning towards the Lombard area IF the Attidute Performance location does not work out.
Maybe meet at the Lombard area Old Country Buffet as one choice?
We should not continue to schedule a meeting in a particular area, only to have no one from the local area attend the chapter meeting.
We had asked for suggestions and local information to accomodate all our members.
Not attending a meeting scheduled in that area sends the message that no interest is there for the chapter to continue efforts there until later interest grows.

Thus far the meeting location has seemed to be no more than a toss up.
We need your input and participation to expand the Illinois chapter.
UNLESS...there is a number of members who voice an opinion on a Danville, or Matoon meeting, we will have little alternative but to meet where there is interest shown and suggested.
Meeting at the Pizza Hut in Danville or Cracker Barrel is not a problem.
Lack of participation is a problem.
So..........speak up on a location or two meetings in April?
Are these dates okay with everyone? Voice your choice.
Sunday April - 3rd - 19th - 17th?
If no interest is brought up, we'll be meeting at the Old Country Buffet in Lombard.
Finally ...IF....the Central and Southern Illinois Members wish to establish a Southern Illinois Chapter,............ go for it!
Be sure to fullfill the requirements of the site and have at it, I'd be happy to share what we've done thus far with you as I have with the Indiana Chapter leader to get them moving as well.

I Hope We Can Have It In The Daville Area. A Big Get Together At The Cb Or At Pizza Hut Would Be Even Better. I Hope Others Start Posting About The Meeting Os We Can Have It In That Area! I Seem Like The Only One With Interest In The South.
