i can creatwashboard vibration
pull parking break relase driving 30mph apply parkingbreak i get washboard vibration sevear i showed this to my ford dealer they looked at me like i had three heads i have apt 1 7 05 they ask if i use parking break all the time to stop i told them never did today it creats same vibration i had last 3200 miles it ben here for the last 3 times only use parking break on steep hill. i think i have found my vibration. try this be careful one wheel may lock.

cbreit...the e-brake sticking was noted as the cause of SOME vibes a few months back. It was found that the e-brake hole thru the drum was not large enough to allow full release. I think it was a legit find as the cause of vibes in some instances, but probably not all.

Parking Brake and Shake
I never used the parking brake much if ever. But after 12000 miles and no shake it started after my wife used the brake the other day. She pulled over thinking that it was a flat tire. It stopped after she pulled back on the road. I tested it three days in a row and sure enough it would start shaking after I had used the parking brake but stop if you pulled over and restarted. It started shaking around 45 MPH. The last week no shake. Strangest thing!

cbreit, I set my parking brake yesterday when I parked on a small hill. Got back in and released it, started driving and had a bad vibe starting at 35-40. I rememberd seeing your post so I set the brake as I was slowing down, released it and the vibe was gone. Thought it was worth mentioning. Thanks for the post, I was pretty worried.

update dealer new rear roters vibe almost gone 150 miles. next 200 miles its back!30 TO 80 IT THERE not a happey camper dealer scratched both wheel centers! it still vibrates this will be it 5 visit different dealer I HAVE LEMON LAW CASE! last 200 miles foot vibrator put my foot to sleep. good news vilant vibration did not rear it ugly head ford can have it back

I AM know typest i can not spell i am verry good at what i do i must have mised those clasess i am a bodyshopp tech that gradued tech school with 98prcent autotech i am now dupont cerfied ido all the truble shooting in are shop we have 6 week weigith to get your truck or car in are shop BE NICE
