o5 superduty oem bugshield
does anyone have a factory bug shield is so does it affect the wipers on the highway also how about ford mudflaps that will go on with the factory flares

I have a ford factory bug shield on my 05 f250 and I have no problems with the wipers. At this time Ford does not make splash guards to fit the 05 with factory flares. I ended up getting Huskys splash guards.

I have the ford one as well. No problem with the wipers and since it is drilless the set screws make the placement for you, no worry about the gap between it and the paint. Took all of 5 mins to put on in the dealer's parking lot.

No just single rear wheel, I called our local Ford dealer parts dept. and they stated the Ford splash guards offered for the 05 our the ones for a non -wheel molded models. He did not know when the ones for factory flares would be offered. I was can of hoping to get the factory ones because they say Ford on them, but after putting up with snow slush and mud piling on the tube running boards I just threw on the HUskys.

Yea maybe the huskys are a little short, Ive never seen the fords although. I suppose these Huskys will catch a little of the slush and mud that gets thrown up into the door and the tube running boards. I was mainly concerned with the front splash guards as the dealer put his logo rear mud flaps on for free when I bought it. They seem to work good enough. Ill give him some free advertising.
