I want to install a steering stabilizer for a '99 E-350 with a V10. All my web searches for product (I'm looking for the simple bolt on single shock type) have yielded no applicable installations. I also looked for some E-350 class c motorhome types but their prices seemed a little inflated (like 2.5 times the cost I was expecting to pay, which is under $100). Anybody have any good leads (not just suggestions)?
Actually, I ended finding a site this morning. Company is Heckethorn Products, aka Rough Country. They advertise one for $49.95 and claim it will fit a 92-99. Will probably order it later tonight and find out if it really does or not.
Nope, I never pursued it. Still on my list of things to do.
For the last couple of months the van has been making this aweful exhaust shaking / rattling noise. So I didn't want to spend the money if she was going to belly up on me. Just this morning, I finally got underneath her trying to found out the problem. Turned out to be a broken heat shield clamp on the exhaust pipe. Now I can start thinking about that stabilizer again.
