Hi I am just getting started and my project is a 1976 f150 longbed 4x4 with 390 and 4 speed. The truck has been in my family since new and I recently got it from my uncle. It runs great but the body needs quite a bit of work. I have had the truck about 6 months and have regeared the diff's for the 33" tires and added a Detroit locker in the rear. Anyway just wanted to say Hi.
So, you're the proud owner of a family jewel ! Those trucks are becoming more sought after now than ever before.
There's separate forums that specialize in each component of a vehicle with resident experts on hand to help you out. Of course there's a forum just for your type of truck. There's also a forum for the state you live in.
C'mon in & join the party !
