My 2000 SD CC has been just eating parts and spitting pennys so to speak. Within one month I have replaced 2 front wheel bearings and just repacked to rear wheel bearings. Lost 1 U Joint and 1 front axle seal. I know that a lift and big tires would cause stress but MAN I thought these trucks were tough! You would think a 3/4 Ton truck would be able to handle a 37" Tire with out tearing stuff up. I am starting to wonder if My PJ's are out of balance or If I just need to get some 35"s!
Sorry for the RANT

Big tires and a lift and going mudding are hard on parts like they say you gonna play, you gotta pay, try big tires and lift on a 1/2 ton see how many parts you break
with tires that big you should go with a dyna trac kit for your front end. it will replace the weak items with stronger ones. DCspecial knows alot about them, pm him and ask away.
The ball joints on these don't make it to 80,000 miles, most '00's out there have had the front end rebuilt on them already, you are doing pretty good running that big of tire and just now having to get stuff replaced.

Unfortunatly I am a second owner and I put the lift on the truck. I think I am paying for the previous owners neglect to maintence Items. I am fixing to do all ball joints and tie rod ends etc. I would love to get the Dynatrac front end but Im just a Poor Air Force Boy.
