window wont roll up
Hey guys my driverside window is already shattered into a million pieces, I broke it on accident when the thing wouldnt roll up anymore. So im looking into the problem, and the arm that the window rests on swings up and down fine untill I put any pressure on it at all. So im told that i will need a new gear kit for my power window motor. Just not sure how to get it out as im looking at it there seems to be 4 rivits holding it in. do i just drill these out to get at the motor?
thx for any help or additional instructions.
getting the new window in looks like a whole nother pain in the rear.

That's right ,Grind them off,use a punch to pop them off,drill them out.
There is a kit to put them new ones back in.
Just so you know,you have to be ami-dextrous and have small hands and wrists to accomplish this feat.
