i have heard that Staind put out a pretty heavy "underground" cd before putting out Dysfunction... and i cant find it.
i also heard that Tool has an underground cd consisting of 11 unproduced songs tonight, but also have no other knowledge of it.
third question... anyone know how i can obtain " for whom the bell tolls" by Metallica just to put on a cd ? i had to scrap Kazaa's system cause my computer sucks... anyways...
and... has anyone heard the new Rammstein song "Amerika"??? at the end they are saying "this is not a love song" which give me the impression they are BASHING America... anyone have any opinions on that?
can anyone help me out here??

Reason: forgot something
The song is more about the Americanization of the world, there are american product names/influences all around the world. In the song he mentions Coca-Cola and Mickey Mouse to name a few. The bands apparently feels that because of this everyone on earth lives in America to an extent.
These very influences are one of the main reasons terrorists hate us. Just look at everything the taliban had banned in Afganistan.
thanks for the link to the staind album i am looking for. has anyone heard the "Tormented" album by staind ? it would be cool to get an opinion on it before i buy it. i love their first cd "dysfunction" and thought they got too light by the time they put out 14 shades of grey... do if its as heavy as dysfunction i think ill like it.
I never knew staind had an album before dys. either. thats cool, im gonna look for it. Dysfunction is an awesome album. I bought it one day, didnt even know who they were, this was a long time ago, glad i bought it for sure. I never bought any albums after that though, they sold out.
Id also really like to find out abou tthis tool you talk about. That be some cool to find.
mp3search.ru It's a Russian based, Napster-like, "quasi-legal" site. No file sharing, you just download the files from their server. Only $0.10 a song. It's not the most stable or easily used setup, but it works well enough for me. Transfer speeds have been lagging as of late.
i found a Staind fans forums board, and everyone on that is saying that the less heard of "tormented" album is the best they have put out... now, Stainds albums have gotten milder and milder since dysfunction came out, which makes me wonder if the Tormented album may just be TOO heavy to enjoy. to me, dysfunction has the perfect amount of screaming to make your ears bleed just long enough to still be able to hear the more subtle sounds of the album. i may contact "Borders" book store today to see if they have the album in stock. it would be cool to listen to it first though before i spent 15 bucks on it.. i dont know if i can do that there though
I downloaded the whole album last night from winmx. Ive only listened to each song once though. It definately is not any milder than dys. Sounds alright so far.
