My six inches of snow melted today in the 50 degree weather. Oh well, five good days of sledding was better than none and the winter is still young.

Y'all need to check out Middlebury, NY, between Buffalo and Rochester (more or less). As of yesterday, they've had 100 inches of snow so far this year! I heard the local Arctic Cat dealer there just took delivery on a new Aston-Martin.
MINNESOTA- perfect outdoor working weather right now. NO snow anywhere near the twin cities, not bad for January 4th. i expected to be done working early november.
although we did have an ice/rain storm last night, i saw plenty of SUV's on their roofs today while i passed them doing 75. i bet they WERE using 4wheel drive at the time too ( false sense of security )
i ALMOST bought a new snowmobile this year too.... heck im starting to feel like i wasted $ 50.00 on my snow plow bracket for my new four wheeler. im glad that sled doesnt have my name on the loan.
All I can do right now is pout. I just want to ride the sled just a little bit this year. Last year by this time I at least was able to ride it in the small back yard. (I only got 20 miles of use last year)
My 4wheeler doesn't ride as smooth over the feilds as the sled, but at least I got a 4wheeler to back me up. Some people don't have one. My friend is scracthing his head right now, "why didn't I get a wheeler instead".
