I do not know what mine were. Go to their website and look under Drivetrain --> U-Joints & Related Parts...I am looking at it now and it lists all the parts you can replace...
I'd been searching by starting with vehicle. Figured that made the
most sense - imagine that! Redid my search starting with drivetrain. etc,
and found them fairly quickly. Not the most intuitive way to search, tho'
I am persuing the same info and have the following question....
Is the "ball & cup" that is in the centre of the Cardan joint (between the two UJ Yokes) a separate part number? When I look on the Dana Spicer site for the OEM part numbers etc it lists parts for the two UJs within the Cardan joint but does not explicitly state whether that kit includes the centre ball & cup. Can someone please clarify how many "parts/kits" I should order to rebuild the cardan end of the prop shaft please. Since I would need to import from the US I'd like to get it right first time - Dana Spicer (UK) don't list them on their database so I can't check with them. Mine is a '92 BTW.
When I replaced the center ball & cup it came as a set. I got that from Napa. In Staffordshire they don't have drive line shops? I would just go there to get it instead of paying to ship something across the ocean, as I'm guessing thats where Staffordshire is at. The part is not that expensive.
Yes, Staffordshire is in the UK across the pond. We don't have driveline shops that would handle a big ford driveline over here (or they are rare). Most cars here are front wheel drive with transverse engines so the majority of autoshops deal with them not big trucks. I'd estimate there is less than 30 Broncos over here so the support is scarce hence the number of questions on FTE. But you guys have been great in answering them for which I am very grateful.
I'll explore other avenues for obtaining the parts before I import but with the Dollar/ Pound rate being so good at the moment its often cheaper to import than buy local. After all you guys are the experts so I prefer to put the money in the pockets of said experts rather than got to a local shop that only 1/2 knows what its on about.
