Besser wasn't the only one that ruined the Three Stooges, the studio staff was starting to care less for the stooges and it shows on the direction of the stooge shorts during the final years of the stooge shorts due to decreasing budgets.

The Three Stooges are to men what Shopping is to women.

Both sides remain mystified. News at 11.

Billy4416, you remind me of the guy in the commercial who is getting married and is in his tux and is huddled in a small room before the wedding with his groomsmen sneaking a peek at the football game, and then the bride opens the door. All the guys have a look on their face like they have been caught in the cookie jar, when the bride says, "Who's winning," and then plops down and watches some of the game with them!

Enjoy!

That was " Hold that Lion" 1947 -- Curley appeared in a cameo role as a sleeping passenger on a train, the one with the clothespin in his nose.

Curly was still a stooge when he was starting to have health problems, it was sometime during his last dozen shorts or so.

Curious... I might be the only guy here that HATES the three stooges !!!!
I went through this topic with the hope of understanding what people like about them. I guess I will never understand....

I hated them when I was a kid, I still hate them now. I find them boring and repetitive. For some reason, they never made me laugh. NEVER !!

Now, don't get me wrong. I am a guy, male, macho, etc. But in this case, I'm on the women's side...
