hi. I am thinking of rebuilding a 460 and changing the cam intake manifold headers, and mabe a few other minor things to get more power. I know the best power change can sometimes be the heads but I am not looking to do that.
I was wanting to get around mabe 400 horsepower anyone be able to tell me wat would be a good combo to get there?
i got a summit racing 218/228 cam with 525 lift stock small chamber heads (10.25:1) and manifolds on the exhaust but i have a performer rpm intake and edelbrock750 carb. the truck weighs 6700 lbs because of the under mnods on the frame but will run 1.8 60 ft times and 13.92 at 100ish in the quarter

Hi,
What's the part number for that cam? I didn't know summit had one with those exact specs. Sure the lift isn't .503"?
Thanks,
Steve

yuo are correct and i must take the defensive and say ooooops! too many engine combos and not enough memory. The cam from summit was indeed a 503 lift as i read in the summit catalog myself just minutes ago thanx for keepin me honest.
