Stull Beefy Billet

Anyone here on the board have the Stull Beefy Billet grille on their truck? How do you like it? How is it installed? Is it a cutout or overlay? I checked their website but it really gave no good info... Thanks, Judd

1tonJudd,

I have a Stull Beefy Billet "Vertical" grill on my '02 F-250 SD (pix in my gallery). It is an overlay. Fitment was good, but I had to contact them to replace the short bolt hooks for long ones. Maybe it was just me, but I couldn't for the life of me, figure out how the short bolt-hooks were going to be long enough to go from the grill to hook around the back side of the stock grill to hold the thing in place. Stull sent me the long hooks right away, so it wasn't much of a problem. I've had it about a year now. No rust, disfiguring, etc. For those who take a second glance and actually notice that it's a "vertical" grill versus the more common "horizontal" grill, people seem to like it. Gives more of a classy look than a bad-boy look that you get with the horizontal grill. I dunno, check it out for yourself and form your own opinion.

Fire back with any questions. If you don't find the grill on the Stull website, send them an E-mail or call them. They're pretty good about getting back to you.

Good luck,
Daryl

thanks

Thanks DS, I just picked up one of the horizontal ones on ebay for 100bucks shipped. I emailed the seller and he said this one was the style that required removal of the stock grille that it replaces. Thanks, Judd
