Didnt take me too long on cable, but with a slower connection you better take a coffee break while waiting.

Found a place where I live listed there i've lived in a couple houses that are creepier than some of those stories Good find!

any good stories? i have never had any kind of encounter of my own except hearing my name being called while im working on my falcon. that is of course keeping in mind that i got it a month or so after my grandfather passed away, and that he was the last owner, i have also gotten some pics of orbs at an old house but nothing really major that i would lose sleep over.

Stories? well, the old door bell chime keeps going off, never used to and hasn't worked for years... started when my wife's grand mother passed away, doors open on their own after being latched, scuffling sounds in the hallway when noone is up.. luckily it is all family members that could be doing all this... 3 different ones. The scuffling hasn't happened for a few years, but with the recent losses in our family, the activity started again...

I was in Arizona a few years ago and we visited an old asylum which was made into a hotel/resaurant type thing. I took a picture of a friend standing by a window and when I got the picture developed I could see a man's head in the window. Plain as day. Another story was when I was laying on the couch in the dark during a thunder storm. A flash of lightning lit up the room and by the doorway I seen the right half of a little girl with one of those oldstyle western dresses on that poof out real far on the bottom. My dad has seen this girl before when he first moved into this house. Yes, I do believe.

I worked in a 100 y/o factory in CT. We hired a security company to watch it, cuz the alarm system kept getting false trips. Each night, a security guard would get scared and leave, but they never said why. Finally the security owner, a tough ole Marine said HE'D sit on the building. He left at 1 AM, just called and said he wouldn't be able to guard the building any more. I worked 2nd shift and had to lock up each night. One night, just before we left, everyone heard someone walking around upstairs. It was unmistakeable- it wasn't settling or pipes creaking. We went up there, but couldn't find anyone. I suggested we buy some beer and just wait around all night, but no one would take me up on it!

Ghosts

YES..............My house has em' too. The previous owner died in the house.

My Mother passed in our old house two doors down.
The owners say they see and hear things as well.
We have sounds of some one walking up the stairs, doors opening, etc.

Now and then items dissapear and show up in another room.

When the furnace started to go south one night ..the smoke detectors started to go off one at a time in every room with one.

Smoke dectectors DON"T sense carbon monoxide...was the ghost.

Even the dogs seem to look in some spots in the house and wag their tails.

We figure my Father-in-law is and my parents area walking around here too now and then paying us a visit.

[QUOTE=Fastronald]YES..............My house has em' too. The previous owner died in the house.

I would not want to know if anyone died in my house because then I would be inclined to believe in ghosts. When I bought my house the daughter of the former owner wanted to come in and see how we were remodeling it and I brushed her off because I did not want to know anything that went on in this house. My luck she would have said "my father passed away in the room". Oh no not this ol' boy. What you don't know doesn't hurt you and I'd rather not know because I would think about it all the time. I don't believe in ghosts in the first place but I can see how someone would believe the noises a house makes could be a ghost. I wouldn't think it but I can see why other people would.

Ghosts

I grew up in this neighorhood.......lived on the block for over 45 years now, I know who did and didn't die in their homes.

I'm happy to have the ghosts here.

As far as Ringo is concerned.............care to spend a night here and pay them a visit? LOL

I don't care at all if anyone does or does not belive in them.

I know what I've seen and heard.
