Powerslots VS. Powerstops?

Getting ready to replace all 4 rotors and pads. I see they are about the same in price but, is there one that is more prefered over the other? (performance wise) Pros and cons of both prefered.

I'm trying to figure what your getting at? That being, if your speaking of slotted rotors vs. standard, about the only difference is cooling. If your towing with your Expy, then slots would probably be the way to go. I have replaced a ton of rotors when I was towing a trailer, the standard rotors just didn't cut it. But if this is just a daily driver then, standards are fine. Btw, when I priced slotted rotors, they were about 50% more expensive, you must have found a deal?
Now, if you want to talk pads, I recently and reluctantly changed to ceramic pads. I was sure these were not going to be beneficial. Well, to my surprise they have been great, they cost a bit more, but I haven't replaced a rotor since putting them on, supposedly they cool better, and they don't chaulk up on the rims no where near as fast as standard asbestos ones. There is no change in stopping power and are supposed to last longer, being of harder composite.
So, for me, standard rotors with ceramic pads are a winner and I put about 50-60k on mine a yr.
I hope this answers your curiosity?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was trying to compare Slotted to Cross drilled rotors. I run 33 x 12.50 tires and tow mainly boats not to exceed 4000 lbs. Just needing a little more stopping power. Ceramic pads are going on no matter which rotors are chosen. Trying to see which would be a better purchase for the long run.

I run cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads on my 98 expy and it is hard to beleive the difference they made. My rig now stops like a sports car! I would think that either cross drilled or slotted rotors would be benifitical in either case.

Just - I replaced the fronts on mt 03EB with Power Slots at 34K. I love them, not only have they inproved stops,(especially on rainy days) but they look really good behind my chrome 20s. The coating prevents rust & keeps them looking like new. I paid $99 per rotor.

I have found too much confusion regarding ceramic pads to convince me...Now, that being said, I love my Hawk brakes. I drive hard, and play hard, and let me tell you, these things stop on a dime and give you change back!
