Explanation of Axle Code: D4 ?
Just acquired 2000 Ford Explorer Ltd AWD with "Axle Code" of "D4" supplied by Oasis VIN lookup. What is the meaning of this axle code of D4?

D4 on my '04 XLT V8 means 3.73 LS; hopefully someone with an '00 can confirm or deny if it's the same.
