Question Recall

Where is the speed control switch on the 2000 f150 is it the one on the brake pedal? I would appreciate if someone. could tell me. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the info. Should I also disconnect the hood light and tape as it is my understanding a hot wire is always at that switch,which could possibly cause a FIRE. This Forum could save a life! Thank you very much.

Welcome to FTE !

Never heard of the under hood light causing a fire before, but if you just unplug it, you can plug it back in if you ever need it.

You have many hot wires that are on all the time, running all over the truck. It doesn't hurt a thing as long as the wiring is in good shape. This is just a strange combination with the cruise control switch. Just another problem that Ford will have to iron out.
