Just have to look in the right spot, bought an 00 4x4 PSD reg. cab 6-speed, every option cept' leather and keyless entry for 15,900 PLUS they gave me more than what I paid for my trade. I consider that a good deal because book was around 19k plus they gave me about 2k more than what I was expecting on trade. Never buy anything at retail. Dealers will budge but you have to pick their minds. Come back once a week and make the same offer until they take it.

You have to shop these trucks. Most dealers in this area are demandind a premium for 250/350 crew cab diesels. I have seen them on lots here in Asheville in the $26k range for a 02 with over 100k on the clock. I went to Autotrader and found a 01 F250 Lariat 4x4 with a topper in KY for $18,500. It has 130k on it, with all records. Needless to saw I made a 800 mile round trip to KY 3 weeks ago....

Just bought a 95 cc 4x4 lb srw, with 108k for $10k. Rebuilt trans, with the goodies, and decent condition overall. At least its a start. Banks here I come. In SoCal, I found 1 comp for $5k more.
