Line-X Prices

I have an 05 F350 DRW with a 8' bed coming in next week and have been looking to get the Line-X spray in liner. I'm in Long Island and the only one nearest to me wants $570 to do it up to the rail and an extra $150 if I want a thicker coat. Is that outrageous! I've been reading around this forum and see that most people are having there's done for mid 3's to low $400. Does anyone know of another dealer around this area that's not such a rip off artist or is that the prices on the east?

I'd visit the Line-X website and do a search for shops in your area. Call them all and see what they quote you. The website used to have a coupon you could print out for 10% off or something like that.

I agree that price is outrageous.

I called five different line-x places around here a couple days ago for a F-150 Supercrew (bed is shorter than 6') and I was quoted $410-490.
There is a coupon on the line-x site for $20.00 off at participating dealers.

A 8' bed here would probably be along the lines of what you've been quoted.

Front and rear air lockers were my last bigger purchase....along with gears and master install kit. Probably won't have time to install them for a few weekends though

Good luck with the new truck and all the future mods

You'll love it!!! I'm coming out of a 03 Hummer H2. It came standard with a rear locker but it just wasn't enough for me offroad or playing in the snow. After having it in the front, traction was incredible. Glad to get rid of the 9mpg Hummer and be back into a Ford

I am in the Tampa area and just visited the LineX and Rhinoliner dealers around here this past week. I had them quote me for an 05 SD 250 Short Bed. The quotes were: $429 for LineX + $50 if I wanted over the rail.
$449 for Rhinoliner + $50 if over the rail and a different Rhino place told me they wouldn't do over the rail because of the way the top rails are configured on the Fords. (You can see my thread down a little further in this forum on the over the rail question) They all talked about approximately 1/4 inch of material, but no one mentioned anything about a surcharge for a thicker application. After watching one of them being applied, I'm not real sure exactly how you would determine how thick is "normal" vs. "extra". All of the people I spoke with said the thickness will vary even at different places in the truck bed.

I have decided to go with the LineX up to the caps. Good luck.
