Line-X Pricing?

Hi All,
I just got a price quote of $700.00+ to spray color-matched (Dark Shadow Gray) Line-X Xtra in a 2088 SD Short bed. Location is Nortern-NJ. This is almost 70% more than the price quote I receive for Rhino. I have a quote pending from a different Line-X dealer. I would really like to go with the Line-X, but this may be cost prohibitive.

Is this a common price for this product on this truck?

Thanks,
Chris

I have a long bed I did in Shadow Grey in October 2006. It broke down as follows: Full bed liner $475, Color match $250(this included the glossier finish), Sale discount -$40, $685 subtotal, $707.95 including tax. Pics in my gallery, one of the best things I did for my truck. This was regular LIneX, I don't think they had "Xtra" when I did mine.....

You are'nt comparing apples to apples. LineX and rhino are totally different materials, and different application processes. My shop sprays 2 different materials Xtreme similar to linex and Ultimate similar to rhino. I charge $250 extra for colors in Xtreme and only $150 for Ultimate. Make sure you know what your getting before you commit.
Another thing look at a few liners from both brands that are a few yrs old, Linex fades, but Rhino REALLY fades.

I looked into spray liners extensively before i bought my franchise. I don't want to bad mouth anyone, but i am really happy with the choice i made in Xtreme and Ultimate

Line-X Pricing?

Thanks for your input thus far. I am intending that this thread to be positive. I'm not looking to bad-mouth or bash anyone or anything. I'm just looking for others' feedback.

To be fair, I do need to add that I have had Rhino in my last 2 F350's and that I have been pleased with the way the product has held up. Has it faded, yes, but it has been very durable over the years.

Thanks again,
Chris

Keep in mind that the LINE-X Xtra product is the ONLY one of it's kind on the market. It took over two years and over 30 formulations for LINE-X and Dupont to come up with this very unique product. Just my opinion but it's the best out there today. You can only get it through LINE-X dealers. Is LINE-X with Xtra inexpensive? No, but the best rarely is inexpensive.

I got my Line-X Xtra sprayed a little cheaper than that, but I didn't get it color matched, I stayed with the black. I am very happy with mine, and I definitely like it better than the Rhino Liner I had in my 99.

Actually I had my toolbox and diamond plate bed rail/tailgate protectors sprayed with black Line-X Xtra also.

In the future I plan on getting Buckstop front and rear bumpers and having them sprayed as well.

I had LINE-X installed a couple years ago and its extremely faded. It looked awesome brand new.

Can Xtra be added on now, or am I stuck with the ugly faded Line-X?

Yes, Xtra can be appled now. However, LINE-X will have a new PATENTED process called ReNew that can renew ANY brand of bedliner. The ReNew process includes the use of Xtra. We can apply Xtra now, but the ReNew process will be a LOT faster. The ReNew product will be introduced to dealers at the LINE-X global dealer conference on February 15, which I will be attending. I'll be happy to report on ReNew product after that date.

Pueblo Gold and Arizona Beige are great colors, we use them on things other than bedliners.
