My cousin in Texas called last night to let me know that he has been hearing about a condition in the cruise control that has a constant "hot" wire and they have been shorting at the switch. In some cases this has resulted in fire, has anyone heard this? He said the condition has been mostly in 150's but he said also in a few 250's and one 350. Any feedback?
I had the cruise control brake position switch go up in flames last month, but it's under the hood attached to the master cylinder. Haven't heard anything about fires starting inside the vehicles, intresting though!
