Here is the story: I bought 77 a couple of months ago since I had to sell my 02 Ram to make room for my first house. Anyhow, when I brought it home I realized there was a (at the time I thought) major wiring problem. When I turned on the parking lights the turn indicators in the dash lit up and the siganls when they did blink, blinked slow and weak. I ripped the entire wiring system apart, replaced the flashers, turn signal switch, the sockets at all 4 corners and got the same results. I did voltage checks, continuity tests, checked the new sockets with a tester, I was pullin my friggin' hair out for about three weeks. So about 250$ and a dozen trips to the parts store later, the blind squirrel found his nut. The previous owner had replaced the bulbs with #2357. However, the sockets require a #1157. So, after 3 weeks of cussin', throwin stuff, skinned knuckles and blowin' my top the solution was $2.50 in light bulbs!!
OUCH!!! That had to hurt. Hopefully some folks reading this will think to check the most simplest of things first, don't overlook or take anything for granted!
