i have a 79 f-250 custom w/ a rebuilt 351m w/ only like 3200 miles on it and i have a problem w/ when i start it after the engine has sat for a day.it takes a good 20-30 mins for the engine to clearly rev.it bogs horribly down low then clears up .i was told and tried to adjust the electirc choke on the edelbrock i have and i have leaned it out. i thought it worked but still does it.now i got this truck this past summer and it was not a every day truck. the engine before blew and he got this rebuilt and has only 3200 miles on it but was done 4 years ago .so im trying to think it just needs to live and get ridden. Also it is winter now in jersey and is pretty cold out so that maybe another thing .i was thinkin of just replacing the fuel filter too just as a thought for it.im still getting fed alot of info and trying to know my truck as much as i can so if anyone has anymore options/opinions on this it would appreciated. thanks

See you on the boards.
Once you get it running shut it off and look into the carb while pumping the throttle lever. If you dont see some fuel spraying out you have an accelerator pump issue. The edelbrocks use a plunger style pump and I have seen them act up in cold weather when that plunger seal gets a little old and brittle.
