update..thanks to trucken bob i didnt slice the bolt off. was able to get the tube nut off with some PB blaster, hammer and a spanner. after i got the manifold off the truck i was able to regrind the bolt head to fit a smaller socket since it was just rounded slightly at the corners. i used some pb blaster and my impact and those guy's flew off.
Another happy ending. I had to use PB Blaster and a small torch with oxy/mapp gas to break my tube nut loose. But I did not want to suggest that to anyone cause the fuel lines run right close.

Using blaster I was able to get the bolts loose this afternoon but that tube nut is gonna have to soak overnite! All this talk got me curious!
Be sure to heat up the tube nut by running the truck a little while (above idle) before trying to loosen the tube nut. A little heat there will help alot !!!
well..i was replacing all the gaskets to try and solve the bucking issue @ 35-40mph that alot of inliners have..but alas, all my hard work and i still have the bucking. d'oh!
That's the problem. I have this bucking/missing issue (mainly in wet) and so do many others. BUT no one has the SOLUTION.
Don't get me wrong...there is a ton of great info. to assist with trying to find it. But when you live in the snow region it takes time to find a good day.
Man I wish I knew what goes on. This is my only thorn since buying the truck in Nov.
That tube nut got heat when I drove it to work this A.M. Right after I got there I put a wrench on it and it broke free. Took the EGR off tonite after work and things seem fine. How much vaccum should I have on that thing when you rev it up? Or dosen't it work like that? I don't have this problem with my old 66 that comes out in the good weather! A man can look at that 352 and understand with a glance where everything goes. This 95 inline is a plumber and electrician's paradise!

i hear ya. that's why i was testing some of the ideas people have thrown out there. i figure 7$ for an intake gasket and some light work(and learning a thing or 2) is worth testing. i can confirm that changing the upper intake, throttle body and egr gaskets do not solve the problem(but the throttle body gasket definatly was collapsed). i wonder if it might be the lower intake..hmm..i dont think i have the patience or the tollerance of pain to remove those. interesting enough my neighbor with an 88 does not have the bucking issue. he mentioned that he had slight hessitation along time ago but changed the cap/rotor and it went away. reading these forums indicates that this is not the case. i have yet to unplug the EGR vacume as i dont really like the check engine light staring me in the face all the time. i will eventually find out what it is as this is a tinker truck for me. untill then, i just drive fast
I thought the check engine lite was sort of a little courtesy light or nite lite that Ford provided for the customer. Mine has been on for over a year and a half now. Despite the minor stumbling at idle it appears to be running well. I wish I knew enough to make it go out but I will not pay someone else to do it! My friend told me that I should get it checked out but the truck is running alright for the most part. It's not over heating, oil pressure is fine,no strange noises or smells, so what's the problem. I realize that life isn't that simple under the hood of a 95 but there are too many other things to take of at this point!
I did flash out the codes about a year ago but they were not very clear, at least to a classic truck guy like myself. My last daily driver was a 78'
