I bought a 1977 s/b and it is almost good enough for collecter plates.I asked about putting after market wheels on and they said mags where allowed as long as they were factory.Does any one know of a site or forum where I can see what type of wheels were available for the 77 F100 Thanks
I just happen to have a 1977 Ford Car/Truck Option Guide and it shows, a 10-hole aluminum mag and then various wheel covers. I have a 1977 that had white wagon wheels from the factory.
Try ebay. I have seen the factory option booklets on there so it would give you something to go by, and help to convince ICBC that any wheels you find are indeed factory. Hope this helps!

So what if the wheels were factory in '91 or '96? Kind of tricky, but would they know? Any factory wheel from a F150 or full size bronco up through '96 will work...
The Ford factory alloys from the 91-96 era would be an excellent choice. They have the correct backspacing, and are 7.5" wide. An added plus is that they're forged rather than cast. Great looking wheels. I have a set on my 78 Bronco.
You should ask if dealer options are acceptable. I know that the local dealer around here put on some aluminum American Racing rims on the brand new trucks around '78 / '79.
